To win the game, give Gin to your brain!
Burnt wine forms the basis for this mild gin. Juniper berries, cilantro and cloves were added. After several weeks of maceration, Fredericus' gin is burnt twice. Enjoy it ice cold and pure! At the beginning we also allow tonic water to start smoothly.

The Distillery Fredericus Secundus was founded in 2014 in Zugdidi (Samegrelo). As so often, love was a driving force in the game. Joachim Tränkle, a German emigrant, with his Georgian wife Manana leads this distillery, in which Georgian passion and German penchant for perfection unite and thus tie in with the long history of German-Georgian relations. Already two hundred years ago Germans lived in Georgia who knew how to use their knowledge of distilling in the availability of so many fruits. In this sense, the two continue an old tradition, combining old manufacturing techniques with modern technology. Only fruits from the neighborhood or neighboring villages are used which are harvested ripe and have short transport routes, so that more 'organic' is hardly possible, however it is not yet certified. Joachim is currently distilling fruit brandies from quince, persimmon, feijoa, pear, apple and cornelian cherry and produces probably the first organic gin in Georgia. It is Joachim's natural claim to transfer the smell and taste of each fruit to the distillate without using any essences or additives.
